How long?

THREE YEARS!!!

AJ used to work at this pizza place, and he's been talking about it for quite a while, so we decided to finally make the arduous trek to Rigby for our anniversary.

Walter, of course, was shoveling as much fry sauce in his face as possible.

They make these little pizza things that are deep fried. I was skeptical, but they did not disappoint!

One of my favorite things about having my anniversary right after Valentine's Day is the clearence flowers!  AJ also used to work for a florist, so he just arranges them at home.  So pretty.

Our neighbors listened for Walter after he went to bed, and we went to the temple.  (That worked out a lot better than last year, where our recommends had expired two weeks before our anniversary, unrealized by us.  Awkward.)

Afterward, we hit up Dairy Queen for some hot fudge sundaes.  By this point I was a little "pictured" out.

We went home and watched Lars and the Real Girl, which came heartily recommended by my mother, but she is reluctant to recommend it to anyone else because of the deceptively risque premise.  We both really liked it, though, and you all might too!  I have no problem recommending it!

The day ended with AJ staying up ridiculously late to write a paper for school, but all in all, a good time.  (Sadly, the camera battery was discovered to be dead as we headed out in the morning to take a very brisk walk around campus, so my plans to thoroughly document the day were thwarted.  It was nice to get out as a family, and Walter had a ball running around.  No pics though.)

Of course, the big question is, when we got married three years ago, did we picture that our life would be in Rexburg three years later?  NO!  But that's all right, right?  Hmm... I am struggling lately.  It is so very cold.  But getting to spend my whole day with my awesome husband warmed my heart. ♥♥♥

VDay Dinner

We enjoyed our yearly supper of manicotti. Walter *really* enjoyed the cran-apple sparking cidar, but we didn't get a good enough picture of it. Maybe next year.

I got AJ some Brazillian soda pop. It was a bigger hit than I expected. This is actually the least weird photo of him that I took.

Blinds

Walter had a bunch of fun playing with the blinds today. Wish we could fly kites at the park, but he is making due in the apartment!
