Rocket Science

We went to Tennessee to have lunch at Miss Mary Bobo's (not the other place, you sillys!) and then went back to Huntsville to see the U.S. Space and Rocket Center.  Obviously we got some crappy pictures, but it was fun to get out and see the sights!  (Also, the nice lady taking the group picture decided to crop out Amber's son Deison in the stroller at our feet.  Weird.)

Green

Obviously this is a horrible picture of my child, but I wanted to get ya'll an extra picture of how GREEN Alabama is!  We had some RIDICULOUSNESS getting out there, that I won't even get into, but finally we were able to visit my awesome friend Amber and her awesome family.

She lives in Huntsville, Alabama, and it was so dang pretty.  And not cold!  Like, apparently other parts of the country seem to realize that April should be spring.  It reminds me of something that my neighbor told me, "Rexburg is Narnia."  Anyway, it was so nice everywhere you looked -- rolling hills of bright green and giant lovely trees.

Friends

We were excited to be able to see the Parson and Ritchie families that we used to hang out with so much in Pleasant Grove.  We were extra glad that we could be there for Jacob's birthday party.  Thanks for everything guys!  Sorry I didn't get a pic of the adults together.  Tasty food, though.  :)

16!

Our first stop in Utah was Maria's sixteenth birthday party!  Yummy cake.

By the way, if any of you say to yourself, "Man, I wish I could be told over and over that Maria can drive now, " I urge you to give the young lady a call.  She would be very pleased to oblige you!

Watch out Walter, that candle looks like it could be a gateway drug.

Easter

We drove down to my Aunt Maureen's in Honeyville, UT for Easter. Walter had tons of fun with my cousin Sydney. It was really funny watching him during the Easter egg hunt, as he had no idea what was going on, but finally understood when I told him to "clean up" the eggs. He then put any egg he would find in the basket of whomever was standing nearest.
