I think Walter really adds to this photo.
Lars tried to eat a lot of candy. He definitely succeeded with chewing them.
I was kind of bummed that we used the same costume as last year, but it was a huge hit. AJ took him out and said that old ladies would stop everything and have the whole house come see him, and then would dump lots of candy in his bag. Walter would say "Happy Halloween" and then run screeching off onto people's lawns yelling "Try and catch me," which I guess is some game he and AJ play, but looked to everyone like a weird gnome was really running all over their lawn. He was cracking people up, and was completely hyper by the time they got home.

Hair Options & a Tough Guy
We were way too busy this year to plan ahead for Halloween, so a couple of hours before the ward party, we pulled out AJ's costume box.

New House
I was going to take a bunch of pictures of the new house, but it was so gorgeous outside that we ended up just playing around in the backyard instead. (I didn't mean for this picture to be so slanty, but I was trying to get the whole thing in frame, and couldn't back up anymore. We don't live on a weird hill.)
I hope the old owners weren't super into pesticides.
Enjoying cookies, even without any teeth. Someday. . . hopefully soon!

Happy Dinner & Packing
Lars has started to tip up his head and squint when he thinks something is hilarious. It would probably translate better through video. Oh, well.
Yeah, Walter was really happy too. Sorry this picture is kind of gross.
We asked him if he wanted to put his toys in a box to take to the new house and he was thrilled. He ran and came back with his three friends that live on his bed.
These pictures are terrible, but he hugged them and whispered to each, "I'm sorry, I love you, see you tomorrow."

Before you all think he's the sweetest thing EVER, I will tell you this story: During conference I looked over to see Lars trying to crawl, but Walter was trying to ride him like a horse. I yelled at him to get off and tell Lars sorry.
"Sorry."
I replied to that terrible apology, "Go give Lars a kiss. What do you say to him?"
"YEHAW!"
