AJ got Lars ready for bed. A few minutes later Walter comes running out with his church pants on his head.

Thanks to Dad
This is what happens when AJ dispenses the bubble bath. I later found it in the trash, so it must have been at least 1/3 of the bottle.
Good thing we have a fun man around the house. If it was just me, we would never have any fun.

3
This video was from the morning. It shows how he is very three.
We kept things low-key. He always wants to stay and eat at the tables at Five Buck Pizza when we pick up a pizza. So that's what we did for his birthday dinner. I hope all his birthday parties cost $5.
Watching for our pizza to come out of the oven.
THREE!
He sang along with us for a few seconds, then blew out the candles way before we were done singing.
And then he licked the cake, of course. Who can blame him? I made a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Yum.
When we were driving away from the store where he picked his balloons he said, "Bye balloons!" Then he turned to the seat next to him, where his were tied to the car seat base, and said, "Hi balloons! What's up?"

Mom of two? What?
Bonus Walter-- He is getting more and more entertaining, now that we are starting to understand more of what he is saying. The other day we were having broccoli-cheese soup and he told us the broccoli was in the bath.

Before & Afters
We forgot to take a photo before AJ started sanding. Just imagine the whole thing was dark and still missing hardware.
Thanks to my cousin Stephanie for the idea to paint this white. Of course, major thanks to AJ for doing all the work.
Fixing this has really lightened our living room up.
Our potting bench sits in our entry way holding keys, shoes, etc. I also covered diaper boxes with wrapping paper to hold hats/gloves and Walter's shoes. We love the way it turned out.
